Info Session: College Essay Prep Program for 11th Grade

Junior year is the last opportunity to learn how to write authentic and compelling essays. Figuring out how to tell their story takes time. Senior year is all about essay review and it’s too late to learn how to write well.

Summary of our programs for college essays:
1. Essay prep in the junior year:
a. Group workshops in the spring
b. Intense 1:1 program over summer break
2. Essay review (1:1 and highly personalized) in the senior year.

Presenters:

Vinnie Gupta, President and Co-founder of Upward Path Institute. Mr. Gupta is considered a thought leader in college admissions. He has been featured in national media and is a frequent guest on media stations nationally.

Ms. Morell, Director of Essay Programs. Nicole is a former journalist, educator and a published writer. She believes that self-reflective writing is a skill every student can master with patience and expert support.
